Volunteer Spotlight: Aspire of WNY volunteers in variety of ways

Every week, more than 30 staff members and participants from Aspire of WNY volunteer for a multitude of FeedMore WNY projects, including sorting and packing food in the warehouse, making reusable grocery bags out of donated T-shirts and delivering meals for a whopping 25 home-delivered meal routes throughout East Aurora, West Seneca, Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Lancaster, Clarence and Niagara Falls.

Dick and Elaine DeLisle began delivering meals with FeedMore WNY two years ago after hearing about the increased need for volunteers on the local news. Looking for ways to help neighbors in the city of Buffalo, the couple started delivering meals from our East Side delivery site.

Why I Volunteer: Mari McNeil

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mari McNeil sang at more than 90 local retirement homes and assisted living facilities over the course of 10 years. Now, as a volunteer with FeedMore WNY, she delivers meals two days a week, helping to bring food and friendship to homebound neighbors in Niagara County.

For more than 25 years, dedicated employees at Rich Products Corporation have helped deliver nutritious food and friendship to our homebound community members. Since July 2020, the Rich Products Corporation has donated $85,000 in support of FeedMore WNY's programs.
