Volunteers are an essential ingredient to FeedMore WNY’s home-delivered meal program, also known as Meals on Wheels. Each weekday, volunteers deliver freshly-made meals to neighbors who are homebound or unable to prepare meals on their own.
Right now, volunteers are urgently needed in Niagara Falls, Lockport and Wheatfield. In one lunch hour, YOU can help us deliver meals to as many as twelve people!
click here to register view all volunteer opportunitiesVolunteers are welcomed to our meal delivery sites around 10:30 a.m. each weekday. After checking in, volunteers are assigned a delivery route and are provided freshly-prepared meals to deliver to those in need.
Meal deliveries occur during the lunchtime hour (between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.). The average route takes about one hour.
