FeedMore WNY adds additional distribution location for community members affected by Buffalo mass shooting

Organization accepting food and monetary donations to support response effort

FeedMore WNY is continuing to partner with the Resource Council of WNY, County of Erie, City of Buffalo and the Johnnie B. Wiley Pavilion to distribute food donations to community members affected by the mass shooting at Tops Friendly Markets on Jefferson Avenue.

Food distributions are currently scheduled for the following times and locations:

Resource Council of WNY, 347 E. Ferry St., Buffalo, NY 14208
Tuesday, May 17 through Friday, May 27 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Johnnie B. Wiley Pavilion, 1100 Jefferson Ave., Buffalo, NY 14208
Tuesday, May 17 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, May 18 through Friday, May 27 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.


Anyone who is looking to donate food and resources to assist with these distributions may drop them off at the FeedMore WNY warehouse located at 91 Holt Street, Buffalo, NY 14206 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. FeedMore WNY staff and volunteers will be working to accept, store, sort and redistribute these supplies back to the community. FeedMore WNY is currently requesting donations of nonperishable protein items, shelf-stable fruits and vegetables, beverages and snack items. Toilet paper and related personal care products, as well as diapers, are also in need. In addition, FeedMore WNY is accepting monetary donations to aid in the food distribution efforts to affected community members.
