FeedMore WNY’s kids in the kitchen program

The Kids in the Kitchen program is designed to give children a strong foundation in nutrition. Over the course of four classes, participants explore different food groups through interactive cooking sessions. Students also learn essential kitchen skills like proper knife handling, food measurement, and safe preparation techniques. The program is done in a small group format with ideally 12 or less students per session. This structure allows kids to engage deeply, ask questions, and receive support as they build their confidence in the kitchen.

Organizations can reach out to receive the ingredients for the program and follow along with the prerecorded lessons. Through the virtual classes, students are able to pause the video and work through the recipes at their own pace!
