Fill the Backpack collects items for nearly 35,000 backpacks

FeedMore WNY would like to thank everyone in the region who contributed to the 2024 Fill the Backpack drive, which collected a total of 34,955 backpacks!

FeedMore wants to specifically thank Wegmans and News 4 WIVB for their support during the two-week campaign, which concluded its 10th year on June 19.

The bags of food are supplied through the children’s schools at the end of each week to help nourish children during the weekends when they are not receiving free or reduced-price school meals.
