Empty Bowls Project by Chautauqua Area Potters

November 14, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$10 – $30

Purchase a handcrafted bowl and support food pantries in Chautauqua County at “The Empty Bowls Project” by the Chautauqua Area Potters! The event will take place tomorrow, November 14, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Village of Fredonia east parking lot, behind the Upper Crust Bake House at 27 E. Main St.

“Empty Bowls” is an annual fund raising event held all over the world. Potters everywhere gather to create hundreds of one of a kind ceramic bowls that are given to persons willing to make a modest contribution to a local charity serving food to the hungry. Locally, this event is sponsored by Chautauqua Area Potters (CAP), formerly known as Fredonia Potters Co-op, a loosely-organized assembly of the area’s amateur and professional potters.
