SNAP outreach: september 27-30, 2021

SNAP helps Western New York’s older adults buy healthy food at the grocery store. Individuals with limited income or high medical and living expenses may be eligible to receive benefits.

Older adults interested in learning about SNAP benefits can meet with a member of our team in person. FeedMore WNY will be holding three table events during the final week of September:

    • Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Buffalo Stand Down (1 Naval, Marina Park S, Buffalo, NY)
    • Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Lockport Farmer’s Market (57 Canal St, Lockport, NY 14094)
    • Friday, October 1, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lockport Community Dining at Dale Association (33 Ontario St, Lockport, NY)

If you have questions about enrolling with SNAP, contact Lauren Merriman, FeedMore WNY SNAP Outreach Coordinator, by phone at (716) 822-2005 ext. 3052 or by email at LMerriman@feedmorewny.org.
