#BuffaloStrong Day of Giving raises more than $14,000 and collects more than 2,500 pounds of food on July 7, 2020.

The #BuffaloStrong Day of Giving raised more than $14,000 and collected more than 2,500 pounds of food to help FeedMore WNY combat hunger in our community!

In collaboration with WKBW-TV and Retro Buffalo, the #BuffaloStrong campaign has provided thousands of meals for families in need of extra help during the COVID-19 crisis. Through funds raised by the sale of #BuffaloStrong apparel and through donations by many generous individuals and organizations, the #BuffaloStrong campaign has raised more than $100,000 since March 2020.

On July 7, 2020, the #BuffaloStrong Day of Giving encouraged our community to make a contribution of food or funds to fight hunger in Western New York. With a challenge to match a $12,000 pledge by WKBW, it took just one day to complete (and exceed) that goal! The Day of Giving also collected more than 2,500 pounds of food from donations to FeedMore WNY’s warehouse and from food drives at Dash’s Markets and the Hamburg Fairgrounds.

THANK YOU!
