DESCRIPTION:MassiveLAN is a group of gamers that have been putting on LAN parties since 2004. The original idea was simple\, assemble a group of smaller LANs in the greater Buffalo area and assemble them into one\, cohesive group for an annual event that simply wouldn’t be possible otherwise. \nA lot has changed since then. MassiveLAN is now it’s own LAN\, with many of its original members still involved. We now hold bi-annual events\, once in the winter\, and once in the summer. Recently we’ve also partnered with LANFest so that our door entry money goes to charity. Every event we select a different local charity to get involved with\, and keep that money here in Western NY.

DESCRIPTION:NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers) is the chief organizer of the largest one-day food drive in the nation. The NALC effort is held annually on the second Saturday in May in 10\,000 cities and towns in every part of the country. Residents put out non-perishable food donations on that day\, which letter carriers collect as they deliver mail along their postal routes. The food is then taken to local food banks. The food drive has collected more than 1.3 billion pounds of food since the national drive began in 1992.

DESCRIPTION:The 40th annual Taste of Buffalo will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday\, July 8\, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday\, July 9\, along Delaware Avenue from Chippewa Street to Niagara Square in the City of Buffalo. \nThe Taste of Buffalo is encouraging festival attendees to giving food to our neighbors in need.
